AKA "Mac" and "Smoove," 1 Plus 1 has been writing and co-producing music since 1995, while performing with major artists all over the East Coast. In 1999, 1 Plus 1 was selected out of 200 artists to open for acts such as Jagged Edge, Tracie Spencer, Doug E. Fresh and the late Big Pun. 1 Plus 1 has also had the pleasure of working with veterans in the industry such as the late Harvey Alston, known for contributing on various projects such as Guy's self-titled debut album and "New Jack City" as well as Michael Jackson's "Dangerous" album.
