This cd is for people who like to move and listen to drums.The rhythms are beautiful,they are from Brazil where i grew up and play music.

I came to the US in 1990, living in Los Angeles for five years and later moving to Seattle,currently i am living in brooklyn ny. I have been actively performing and teaching and was also able to tour around the country. I play music with different bands and musicians in all kinds of venues .

People started asking me about music for dancing with drums, and that's when I decided to make this cd. These are beautiful rhythms, from Rio de Janeiro I included the Fast and Slow Samba and from Salvador, Bahia the Samba-reggae and Afro-Bloco/ile aye. You can dance or practice a music instrument or work out. I play all the instruments on the album. Thanks for your attention, Daniel.
