Frank French and Scott Kirby join forces on two pianos for this distinctive collection of French-American and Latin-American-influenced works. From Gottschalk to Jelly Roll Morton, this recording follows a musical thread that connects 19th century Haiti, turn-of-the-century New Orleans and present day Cuba.

The recordings of Viridiana Productions, L.L.C. represent a grass roots movement designed to promote the new music Terra Verde, as well as various traditions from which it draws.
