Adam Marr is a multi instrumentalist, songwriter and singer hailing from the New York City music scene. His style takes influence from such genre's as funk, jazz-fusion and progressive hard rock. The electric bass is Adam's first love, and he always seems to find ways to make his bass playing the melodic driving force in the music, this is whether people like it or not. This is definitly a bass players album.

Some of Adam's biggest musical influences are Prince, Jaco Pastorius/Weather Report, Yes, Rush, Return to Forever, Miles Davis, Sly and the Family Stone and Black Sabbath.

Scandelopia is Adam's first recording as a solo artist and was recorded in 2002, and mixed and mastered in 2003. He composed all of the music over the last couple of years. Adam played electric bass, guitar, alto sax and keyboards through the album and performed vocals on five of the albums nine tracks.

Adam has recently been pursuing a recording contract and wishes nothing more than to tour the world in support of Scandelopia. The type of music contained on Scandelopia is completely fresh and very, very unlike anything you hear as mainstream music today. Even with the innovations of the music, there always remains hooks full of catchy VIGOR.
