This Down Beat Award winning Ensemble directed by Art LaPierre is back with their 4th cd. This time it's even bigger and better! The group sings Joe Gilman arrangements of Stevie Wonder's Go Home, Dizzy Gillespie's Two Bass Hit, and Tony Crombie and Benny Green's So Near So Far, which Gilman not only arranged, but added lyrics to! This cd also includes a spot-on version of the same Gene Puerling arrangement of the Sherman- Maschwitz tune A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square that the Manhatten Transfer recorded.
