Barrelhouse reviews:

This is Americana. From the raw blues of "mystery Train" to the folk~jazz of " Summer Nocturne," this CD is a home brewed distillation of gritty music. The resulting compilation reflects an effort to reinterpret musical standards spanning the range of the Twentieth Century.

Steven Cappozolla, The San Francisco Herald, California

This 12 track CD consist of a nice blend of styles for up~tempo and easy listening. The band's sound mixes styles, drawing from mainly blues influences while including some funk, folk calypso and jazz. There are four instrumentals on this CD, my favorite being track 10. Entitled "Summer Nocturne," this piece is a medley of George Gershwin's Summertime" and Earle Hagen's "Harlem Nocturne." With a jazzy saxophone and drums blended with bluesy guitar and a very seductive harmonica.
Check them out!
