This sophomore offering from electric saxophonist Bret Sexton continues the journey into deeper realms of driving riffs and innovative sounds.

On this effort, Bret teams up with keyboard whiz Dave Cieri and the inspiring young guitarist Dan Schwindt to produce some of the best contemporary acid-jazz around. Excellent compositions including "Miff-muffered Moof" and "Pocketful of Kafka" showcase the groups improvisational coherence and deep sense of groove; while the tracks "Omswiass" and "Low-tech-know" bring out Sexton's taste for electronic mayhem. The hip rhythm section combo of Sublett and Santucci provide the propulsive force that makes these tracks come alive.
