Loophole Records was formed in 2002 by labels' first two artists AK Tay & Vamp, who are brothers in real life. All the tracks on their debut album "BloodBrothers" were produced by AK Tay, with the exception of #7 which was produced by Big Squeeze out of Tacoma,WA. Vamp at 19 & Tay at 23 definately have been putting in work over the years. They purchased their first keyboard when Vamp was only 12. Tay and his lifetime homie Kenia the Hustla started recording songs at about 16, doing shows out in Anchorage, Alaska being recognized as rappers. Tay appeared on Kenai's album "Inlet City Rollin" released in '98' on Inlet City Records & also produced two tracks on the album. AK Tay birth name Danta' & Vamp birth name Keith were born in N.Carolina. They started school in Anchorage,AK due to their mother and father's need of a new scenery, and a more opportuned enviroment. Raised in the streets of Alaska, getting into what every other youngster across America could be involved in & then some. Of course it's been a struggle, that plus going back and forth to the east coast & the south to visit loved ones has well-rounded the rappers. Experiencing views of all coasts has left an impression on their styles, but absolutely sticking to their west coast mobb influence.
