The four original members of ATI combine with working musicians to create a high energy, hip-hop/funk sound. Live instruments, two MC's, a singer, and a DJ make ATI's sound unique and their live shows a straight up party! The lyrics are well crafted, poetic and battle worthy. D.Insane and Big Doos can bust flows that curl toes and reach souls. The funk heavy guitars (CT) and keyboards keep you in a trance while the drums and bass make your azz dance. DJ Sun adds just the right touch with his mind scrambling scratches that make the crowd get up. Above The Influence is a breath of fresh air in a world where mainstream hip-hop polutes our ears.

Artist History
1992- D.& Doos Productions formed 1995- D.& Doos Productions releases it's first cd "Unknown Masters Vol. 1" 1997- D.& Doos Productions releases it's second cd "Unknown Masters Vol. 2" 1998- CT and Doos form Couch Luvin' which uses alternative rock and hip-hop 1999- D. Insane, Big Doos and CT form Above The Influence with their good friend, G-Money on background vocals 2000- Above The Influence releases their first Demo 2001- Paul Hunter, Keiko Kinzell and DJ Sun join the group to complete the live sound 2001- Dec. 1st ATI BLOWS UP at the Tonic Lounge with a unforgettable debut performance!!!! 2002- Feb. 22nd ATI does it again at the Tonic Lounge. 2002- March 8th ATI performs at the Tonic Lounge. 2002- March 22nd ATI does it's 4th show at the Tonic Lounge. 2002- March 30th ATI performs at the Bitter End Pub and has a great last show with some of the members of the band. 2002- June ATI replaces drummer, keyboardist, and bass player and find a gem of a singer. 2002- Soon ATI gets ready to unleash a new and improved sound.... 2002- ATI blows up the stage at Mt. Tabor Pub on the Tuesday night speacial with Money & Lovin'. 2002- October-December, ATI's back in the studio working on the album that will put them on the map. 2003-September, ATI finishes the new CD "Things Change".
