Who's in my band? Me, this dude King Bullsh*tter, A. Double (our producer) and by project, we have local guest spots.

What do we sound like? This is my favorite, 'cause I love to gently push the envelope, yet fully ground my work in an identifiable genre. So, basically trip-hop. Because, it is the closest thing I can think of to the kind of boundary-less hip-hop I want to do: experiment with rhyme, production, vocals, beat structure, etc., but still have it be definatively hip-hop. So, there you have it. I work with all kinds of people, son. Get used to it.

So, how'd I get here? I had a defining moment in my life, when my cousin dropped the needle on a record called "By All Means Necessary." I had always heard and liked hip-hop, but when I heard that record crackle, and the lead groove swished into the first phrase, "So. You're a Philosopher?" I knew I was home. I sat in front of that record for all of the first side, turned it over, and didn't move an inch until it was done. From there, it is your typical "I grew up, DJ'd, formed a group, recorded, toured, f'd up, revived myself and my passion" kind of story. I don't like to call myself anything fancy. I love music. I love this music. And I try to keep making what I love.
