Artists Over Industry hails from Harrisburg, PA, a city who's hip-hop influence is left up to the individual. Taking the responsibility upon their shoulders, Inkwell the Biologic, Windchill, Speechless and Q-Sak carefully and subconciously chose their mentors. Artists such as Dialated Peoples, The Roots, GangStarr, Last Emperor, Common, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, and others of such caliber influenced their minds and directed their early development.

Research and Development, Artists Over Industry's debut album, embodies the efforts and influences of these four individuals. From the well-crafted lyrics of Windchill and Inkwell the Biologic, to the soundscapes provided by Speechless and Windchill, the offering represents their passion and direction. Q-Sak adds his signature cuts and scratches to the album to complete the project. A truely unique listen to any and all who desire realness in their music.
