There is not enough space on this page to describe the intensity that 57 State brings to the rap/rock world. The style and originality of music that these guys continue to produce has many people on their freakin' toes.
Remi Dea Kid and G-regular grew up together in Sugar Land, Tx, a suburb of Houston. These two cats first started rapping over some ICP instrumentals and any other instrumentals they could find. They then hooked up with G-reg's older brother when they were 15 and started recording some songs and drinking beer. During thier senior year in high school they finished their "Comn' Thru" EP. The cd did real well locally but thats about it. Soon after 57 State hooked with Paul Wall from the Swishahouse and did a slammin' track. This built a good rep for 57 State, they have been rockin' shows all over Texas and now they have an arsenal of kick ass songs on their Rank & File LP ready to tear shit up.
