It is simply amazing how the Lord has allowed me to experience His wonderful blessings. When I was young, I remember wanting to be a professional singer and actress. I grew up around music—there was always music being played at my house, all throughout the house. I can remember performing my “home concerts†at a very young age. As a result of this appreciation and adoration for music, I began singing in my church’s choir and school choirs. I have sung in numerous talent shows and pageants as well. As I grew older, however, I realized that being a professional singer was not an easy feat to attain. So, I traded my dreams of fame and stardom for a college education. I eventually went to law school, and became a licensed attorney. The Lord even saw fit to bless me with a beautiful daughter. Through it all, though, my love for music and singing would remain a fervent constant in my life.
As the Bible says, the Lord is so faithful! He never forgot the dream I had to become a recording artist, though I had chosen to conveniently place it on the backburner of my mind. As always, He had other plans. So, now, as my family proclaims, I am an attorney by day and a professional singer by night!
One Wish was ordained by God! His hand was on this project from day one. From the first word written, the first track laid, and the first note sang, His favor was apparent to everyone involved. For this reason, I know that every person who listens to this cd will be blessed by it. Whether you love traditional or contemporary gospel, One Wish offers something for everyone, from beginning to end. Enjoy and be blessed!
