3) - BIOGRAPHY
INTRODUCING ALICIADINE.......
Since 2001, she has ministered to the multitudes in song; ranging from small-town, local radio stations to internationally-televised and radio broadcasts.

With a distinctive voice laced with an anointed spirit, ALICIADINE is rapidly becoming one of the most distinguished psalmists within the Christian music industry. With her new releases "Even Now" and "Child of the King" - both written and produced by Steve Twyman (keyboardist for Gospel legend Pastor Shirley Ceasar), ALICIADINE is crossing all cultural boundaries with her musical ministry with music for all to enjoy.


HOW IT ALL BEGAN.....
She was a seven-year-old scurrying around, singing aloud in her parent's home in Augusta, Georgia, ALICIADINE (pronounced ah-LEE-shah-DEEN'), was destined to be one USED OF GOD with her anointed voice.

"There was a time I was in my room singing loudly and boldly. Mom and Dad (Emma and Jimmy Starks) yelled back, 'TURN THAT RADIO OFF!'," said ALICIADINE. "When I did so and kept singing, they were about to scold me until they, along with my older brother Len, discovered that it wasn't the radio that was playing!"

Raised in a musical family (her father was a jazz pianist, mother is vocalist and aunt is a classically trained pianist who played one time for Gospel legend the late Rev. James Cleveland), ALICIADINE began playing the piano and singing at Tabernacle Baptist Church in her native Augusta. There she sang with various choirs within the church, and played for the church's Sunday School for a number of years.

During the years that followed, ALICIADINE has won numerous awards for her musical and vocal talents, including placing as a finalist in Atlanta's Entertainer of the Year Awards in the Gospel Category sponsored by W H T A-FM Hot 97.5 FM (now WPZE-FM Praise 97.5) in Atlanta.


BUT NOW........
Now, the Atlanta-based Contemporary Gospel recording artist, songwriter, and producer, is taking her gifts toward a greater plateau, ministering and inspiring all who listen to her rich vocals etched with the message of the love and grace of Jesus Christ.

ALICIADINE's debut single has gained rapid response from Gospel music lovers all over. Within the first year of her debut, she has been featured on "Inspirations Across America" hosted by Mike Roberts (which has aired on over 100 radio stations across the U.S and worldwide, including Africa, Asia, Europe and the West Indies). Within the first few months of her debut single release as an unsigned artist, ALICIADINE achieved international CD sales from as far away as Japan and France, with domestic online and in-store sales in various markets nationwide, including California, Colorado, Indiana, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, New York and Texas. Her new debut album is due for release in late 2006.


DOORS OPENED TO ALICIADINE BY HER LORD AND SAVIOR....
ALICIADINE's current single "Even Now" has also been featured nationally on the "BOBBY JONES COUNTDOWN" radio program and "THE LIGHT" radio network.
"GOD has blessed me through many of the trials and tribulations that went on in my past. With the talent the Lord also blessed me to have, I'm using this to share the message of GODs love and mercy to others. There are scores of people in the world who have gone through either the same degree of challenges as I, or more, who need to hear the Word and be encouraged."

One testimony I have about how God's gift through me is blessing others dates back in 2002, while rehearsing to do a concert along with John P Kee in Charlotte, a gentleman working at the venue told me after listening to my soundcheck how blessed he was by listening to my singing and encouraged me to move on to greater heights with God's gift! I thank him for that. It was on that day, that I decided to let GOD's will be manifested through me, and to minister to all across the world who would open up and hear.

Among ALICIADINE'S past performances and collaborations include:
*singing in front of 22,000 at the last Atlanta Braves' 2004 regular season game when Bobby Cox clinched his 2000th career win.

* International television appearance on "Bobby Jones Presents" on The Word Network (broadcast dates and times TBA) taped in Las Vegas.

* International television guest appearance with Dove Award winner and Stellar Award-nominee Babbie Mason.

*Shared live concert stages with major names in Gospel music, including multi-Grammy & Stellar Award winner Pastor Shirley Ceasar; Grammy-nominee, Stellar & Dove Award winner Dottie Peoples; Billboard and Stellar Award winner John P. Kee; Pastor William Murphy: Shirley Murdock and Grammy nominee Canton Jones.

* Guest soloist on Trinity Broadcast Network (TV45 in Montgomery, AL)

* Singing in the opening ceremony for the Progressive National Baptist Convention

* Guest soloist at the South Carolina NAACP Annual State Awards program

* Participated in a live recording featuring Grammy Award-nominee James Bignon for his 2000 CD release, "Miracle."

* Rendered a soul-stirring selection for the 2002 New Era Baptist Convention Ministers Conference held at the Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta.

* Performed at the 2003 "Sweet Auburn Music Festival" sponsored by WPBS Praise 1040 AM in Atlanta.

* Featured guest on Atlanta's GLORY TO GOD TELEVISION hosted by Joe Pope.

* Performed in the 2003 National Gospel Artist Showcase sponsored by Kentucky Fried Chicken, Inc.

* Interviewed on a number of radio stations across the country, including WEOA 1400AM - Evansville IN; WRUF-AM Gainesville, FL and WPRW-FM, Augusta, GA.

* Music video for her debut single "Even Now" is currently broadcasting on a number of Gospel television shows, including The Word (national) Network, Sky Angel Satellite Television Network, Glory to GOD Television and WATC-TV - both in Atlanta, and the Parade of Quartets in Augusta.

She has been featured in a host of local and national publications, including the anniversary edition of IMANI Magazine (featuring Bishop Paul Morton on cover), the ATLANTA JOURNAL CONSTITUTION, AUGUSTA CHRONICLE, ATLANTA GOOD LIFE MAGAZINE, AUGUSTA FOCUS, METRO COURIER (Augusta, GA),and the SPELMAN MESSENGER (Atlanta, GA).


ALICIADINE: A WIFE & A MOTHER, GOD'S SERVANT.........
A graduate of Spelman College, ALICIADINE is married to Mark Oliphant, who is also her personal manager, and a proud the mother of one daughter, Carolyn Janet, a high school student attending Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy who wants to become an attorney.

In between her ministerial travels and engagements, ALICIADINE, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, helps the underprivileged by donating clothing, and mentoring young people who have gone astray.

“Helping young people is my passion, for they are our future,” says ALICIADINE, who plans to open centers for youth that emphasizes on self-esteem, academic tutoring and career planning and development. “I want to help young people learn and feel good about themselves, and gain a sense of self worth. This will be a place they can call home until they are able to get on their feet. All of our young people deserve the best. And a child shall lead them...”

ALICIADINE wishes to spread the good news of Jesus Christ through song and music to the masses that stand in need to be blessed by His Word and fresh anointing.
