B.B. Wolfe is a singer of original songs that come from a lived experience. A well-traveled vagabond across the landscape of the human soul, he presents in A.K.A. songs that you will find yourself coming back too again and again.

Born Baby Boy Wolfe in Flint, Michigan, the land of General Motors, he was adopted shortly after the storks delivery and renamed. He traveled through the towns of Michigan, moving from place to place until he landed in Jackson, Michigan, less than one mile from the largest unwalled prison in the world (at least at that time). It was on prison grounds that B.B. played some of his little league baseball games. He once hit a double that won the game.

It was at 18 years of age that two tragic events occurred within six months of each other that changed B. B. 's life forever, the death of his two friends Andy Egeler and Terry Ratliff. Andy wanted to be a poet and Terry loved to play guitar. These are the very two art forms that B. B. used to keep their memory alive. "They've been part of me now for quite a few years and I think they're still with me tonight..."

When B.B. reached 21 years of age, he left Jackson behind and moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan, at one time the home of Gibson Guitar, living there until he was 26. He then moved to Southwest Michigan where he has lived and worked to present day.

Singer-songwriter, teacher, artist and potter, B.B. has discovered an oasis of friends and creative energy outside of the isolated community in which he has existed. It's not only good to survive. It’s good to grow. And grow he did. Within the year B. B. had written nine quality songs that became his first recorded work. A. K. A. (also known as) was released in November of 2005. It has played from Oregon to Ohio, from Canada to Israel, and from Belgium to Bowling Green State University.

With song in his heart and the wisdom of experience on his lips, B. B. hopes to someday hop the freight train that runs through the very heart of that town
" . . . and ride it down the track and when the morning comes again, there will be no looking back," as he makes his way to your stage, in your town.
