anna roland's joni mitchell, ani difranco and melissa ferrick influenced vocals combined with her rhythmic, funky, jazzy, folky guitar takes one hell of a run on sentence to describe. anna roland began her career playing on the streets of st. louis and gathering enough cash to jam with some friends and lay down an album. this self-titled album is anna's first studio recorded project under roadhouse tunes. her compilations extend from politically and socially conscious folk songs, to groovin' jazzy tunes, and even ballads including string accompanyment. so go ahead a take a test taste of this starving artist's claim to fame, she'll leave you wanting oodles more!
