Barbara has worked as a pearl diver, longshoreman, miner, astrophysicist, and deep-sea fishing guide.

Just kidding, folks...

Born and raised in Illinois, she has been a piano teacher for some years, a church musician for one year, and has played the piano in restaurants from Mackinac Island, Michigan to Denver, Colorado, and points in between.
