The sort of record that can dabble in electro and hardcore techno, literally without missing a beat. This isn't a DJ outfit or dance-floor ensemble; the members of NPFC would best be described as sound designers. The tracks are tight, but the overall mood is warm, virtually demanding subsequent listens with a good pair of headphones.

I am finding immense pleasure in listening to Mushroomrobot from The 19.5 Collective. Quite a departure from the NPFC's earlier romps with the Orange and Blue CDs. Quite phenomenal actually - it's a fair bit harder, at the same time offering more depth and layering.
