Who is D'GEYRALD?

At 16 he was part of the global phenomenon: GSQUAD, a successful boy band during the 90's who were massive from Paris to Montreal, Beirut to Seoul with the hit singles 'Raide Dingue De Toi' 'Aucune Fille Au Monde' and the album 'GSQUAD'. With a huge fan base like most boy bands of their time, 1 million copies were sold worldwide and they received a lot of media interest, and one member in particular - D'GEYRALD. His model looks gained him much press and fan attention that is immediately evident when you look at his handsome image.

The young man left the group to find himself and dedicate time to his art. He made the brave decision to out himself as a gay man despite the fact this might have harmed his huge teenage girl fan base. On the contrary, he was supported in his move and at the end of 2001 he signed with an independent label, SymbaMusic. He helped shape SymbaMusic and added new artists to its roost and then formed a joint deal with Universal Records and Airplay in the summer of 2003 for ultimate distribution. Pop-orientated French songs were launched online initially, in collaboration with Stéphane Mondino as the lead up to his brand new album.

Now at the age of 26, he is ready to start to release his new material to his long awaiting fan base and hopes to make a few new fans on the way. The currently untitled album so far is showing itself to be an honest, intimate, deep and melancholic collection where D'GEYRALD approaches the topics of the tolerance and acceptance of the others no matter their sex, colour or religion.

The first single 'New Kind Of Love' revealed with the need of only a few words, his love for another man. With a mixture of pop and electro sounds, this fine cut also features hot remixes by Harlem Hustlers.

The new follow up single is a duet with gay artist Tané'O entitled 'I'm Your Man' - one of the first times in music history that two men tenderly perform such an intimate song to one another. Promos will be available on this shortly.

On top of this, D'GEYRALD is one of the hot new faces fronting the PINK TV launch in Europe. This brand new French gay TV channel has a host of hot new talent to present their shows including D'GEYRALD for 'CD De Jour' .
