Contriband, short for "contribution" band, is the integration of the musical influences in rock, jazz, funk, and soul, all built upon a solid foundation of hip-hop. Intricately weaving live instrumentation
with the digital realm and back, while offering a precise balance of rhythmic and thoughtful wordplay, Contriband's unique sound stretches well beyond the borders of "fusion" music.

Formed in the spring of 2002, the members of this Chicago based band include Allan Cordero on bass, Justin Hori on keys, Tom Scully on guitar, Russell Pride on drums, DJ Stizo on turntables and trumpet, with vocals and rhymes provided by M.C.'s Life One and Universe Neo.
