Ashley Allen is an artist/producer who fuses the elements of disco, jazz, techno and house to create his unique urban sound.

Music and computers are among Ashley's life long passions. He wrote his first computer game - Breakout - while in high school. When he wasn't programming, he was drumming out beats on the kitchen counter, table, chairs or any other objects he could find that gave off an interesting sound. He drove his mother crazy.

Ashley decided to give both his mother and the beats a rest, and focused on software. He majored in computer science and took top honors at Southern University Baton Rouge Louisiana. Upon graduation Ashley moved to California, where for the past 16 years he has worked in Silicon Valley, providing distributed software solutions for the dissemination of news, information, and other financial data from global markets to major financial instutitions.

During that period Ashley rekindled his passion for music and began to collect various pieces of equiptment - keyboards, drum machines, production books. Before long he assembled a home studio and taught himself how to produce records.
