Musical partners since 1998, vocalist Jo Alexis, and producer/multi instrumentalist Richard Alexander, have collaborated on four albums together. The first, You Are Just Like Me (2000), explores folk rock stylings, textures and themes. With echoes of Sarah Mclachlan, Mazzy Star, and the Cowboy Junkies, it presents of song cycle of love, loss, longing, and realization. The second, Time To Go (2001), an EP, explores alternative country stylings, and the perennial country theme of : 'leavin' that no good man'. The third, Shameful Joy (2002), also an EP, explores Bjork and Chemical Brothers territory with two extended pop electronica (or perhaps 'folktronica') pieces (with a third, a homage to 80's new wave).
The fourth album, Sing Through Me (2003), explores ethereal world music electronica sounds and textures, in the mode of Dido, Moby, Goldfrapp, St. Entiene, Lamb, Laika, Dead Can Dance, and Azure Ray, with themes of spiritual seeking and realization.
