This Album documents 3 years in the life of Andrew Ahrendt, or at least sums up the shifts in his emotions. Life itself and everything encompassing it is always fluctuating...Always evolving. Everything seems to be of a cyclical nature with each revolution resembling the last but with a new twist, or a fierce lesson. The Internal Struggle involves trying to interpret all this information while at the same time keeping the focus on what originally seemed like a solid concept. It's very hard to see things through amongst all the chaos.
The first four songs are of a 44 nature and have been very effective on the dance floor through various vinyl releases. These tracks pound hard but are designed to take you on a bit of a journey, not just simple loop based dance music. These songs are great on their own as well...No DJ necessary.
After the first four songs the mood changes along with the tempo. These tracks complete the journey by bending the feel and mending a bit of the damage you may have suffered in the first half of the Soundtrack.
Andrew is ever evolving like his surroundings and chances are the next album will be a step forward and will probably be sonically distant from this...his first full length,
