Chord (a.k.a DJ Chord) is better known as the programmer and keyboardist in the live electronic band Misfilter. With post.modern.urban.sound he seeks to return to his break-beat/jungle roots. Featuring vocals by Chord, Piper of Misfilter, neo-soul/r and b singer Kathon, and rapper Mack Jones, post.modern.urban.sound is an enganging waltz through acid-rock, drum and bass, and dance rythms.

Chord's career began in the mid-90's after discovering artists like Andrea Parker, Bjork, William Orbit, Red Snapper, Roni Size, Nelle Hooper and Massive Attack. Having fell in love with electronic music and producer culture in general, Chord decided to start making his own music. Outfitting his computer with some of the latest programs available at the time, Chord began expirimenting with sounds. What started off as a hobby, quickly became an obsession. Software led to synthesizers, syths led to a makeshift bedroom studio and the studio led to a catalog of 1000 unreleased songs.

Fueled by his love for all music, look for his lable Solibrea (Solidbreak.com) to surfuca in early 2004. You'll find more information on Chord and related projects at www.misfilter.com/chord and www.copatone.com
