Born in Lebanon, I grew up in the Pasadena area of Los Angeles. As the youngest in my family, I developed under the musical influence of my older siblings, who exposed me to classical music in my early years. I began playing classical violin at age 11. By age 15, I was in love with the rock sounds of the 70s, listening to Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Bad Company, and Jethro Tull. And that's when I taught myself how to play the flute, solely influenced by Ian Anderson. Growing up in the 80s, I was influenced by the UK Pop bands - Depeche Mode, New Order, The Cure, and The Smiths. So I was always immersed in a fairly eclectic mix of music.

I began writing music and playing keyboards by early 80s and soon became exposed to the Nu Flamenco guitar influences, including Ottmart Liebert, Marc Antoine, and Jesse Cook. And my search led deeper into Flamenco. I was exposed to some amazing players like Vicente Amigo, Tomatito, and Jason McGuire. That was another turning point in my life.

In late 80s, I build my first commercial recording studio and soon afterwards began recording, writing, producing, and arranging recordings for musicians of all genres.

In 1997, I organized a group of musician friends under the band name Effusion. We released four albums over the following years under an independent record label, Abet Music. I also released a side project, 5th Element, with vocalist Lynne Walton.

I have been pursuing a career as a solo artist ever since. And now I've taken a giant step in that direction with “How Could I”, my auspicious debut as a musical leader.

A description of Aeron's sound could be put in these words:

"DIDO dates RADIOHEAD, cheats with COLDPLAY, falls in love with DEPECHE MODE while listening to PINK FLOYD, and their love child is AERON." (Alternative / Melodic Rock)
