"The first time I encountered live music was as a young child, mesmerized as my grandmother's hands moved across the piano keys. I would also spend hours listening to records on my small phonograph. Occasionally I would wander from Rogers and Hammerstein, into my father's classical music collection, which I found very mysterious in comparison with the Broadway theater music."

This early exposure to and love of rich theatrical and classical music traditions is evident in Christopher's music. In Streams in the Desert, his deep clear vocals complemented by the simplicity of the piano, reach deep into our souls.
