For Twenty-some-odd years, this musical prodigy has been living his life through music.
From the day he learned to channel his emotions, A. Fraz has been determined to use songs to invite people into his world.
Born in the New York City area, not having, was not uncommon.
His greatest comfort was his gift for communicating those experiences through art.
At the untimely death of his mother, he relocated to the suburbs of Westchester County, the home of many iconic figures such as Mariah Carey, Tommy Mattola, and Vanessa Williams.
Although this opened up many new opportunities and exposed him to more than he new possible; losing a parent and being stripped from your five siblings can make "moving on up" an intimidating and tormenting experience.
The lonely yet fascinating new adventure became imortalized in a heartfealt overflow of music.
Music became the forefront of his life.
He even chose it over a promising career as a professional diver.
"I believe I was put on this earth for a reason; and that reason was to help people relate with life's experiences through music," explains A. Fraz.
A multitalented artist, Fraz has taught himself to play numerous instruments such as the piano, drums, and guitar.
His creativity and versitility extends beyond the many instruments that he plays and endows his songwriting with a diversity few musicians can achieve.
Though his prolific songwriting is often compared to R. Kelly, his stylings have been most likened to Brian McNight, Joe and Stevie Wonder.
He croons ballads with a smooth gentleness that makes it hard to believe the same man can command the passion that he puts to his more intense tracks.
His performance is further enhanced by the charisma and presence that has earned him appearances in major label videos, commercials, print and fashion shows throughout the New York City area.
