While driving to their family vacation, a father came across jazz music on the radio - a swinging quartet of sax, jazz organ, guitar, and drums. He looked in the backseat at his 14 year old son, who was fully into the music, and said, "Some day, you'll be playing like that."

The father was the late legendary chord harmonica player Bob Bauer speaking to his son, Chris. Bob wasn't wrong - that 'some day' is today. Although 'the sound' on this recording was discovered completely by chance, it's the sound Chris heard with his father that day.

Joining Chris is keyboardist Ralph Pugliese, who has performed at the Plaza Hotel and the Rainbow Room, smooth guitarist John Licitra, and composer/arranger Silky Joe Kiernan on the drums - all top notch jazz musicians in their own right.

After listening to this recording, remember that it was foretold some 30 years ago. Don't you think it would be safe to say that Bob would be proud?
