I'm Carmen, a blind artist from Forest City, NC. I'm now residing in Raleigh, NC. In the past, I had the privilege of opening shows for such artists as Bobby "Blue" Blan, B.B. King, Buddy Rich and Luther Vandross. I did background vocals for Laurie Lee on both Al Green and Stevie Wonder concerts and Jackie DeShannon on a Neil Diamond concert.

During my college years at Howard University, I participated in scholarship fund drives along with Louis Armstrong, Sammy Davis Jr., Donnie Hathaway and others. I'm back again because they say that "it's better the second time around" and I'm curious.
