Truly the only album of its kind, "Timeless" offers a one stop shop for the greatest songs of the greatest male singers, performed by America's newest popular singing artist Andy Nahas. This compilation is both romantic and inspiring, featuring selections originally performed by Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Engelbert Humperdinck, Tom Jones, Tony Bennett, Dean Martin, Roy Orbison, Perry Como, and more. Andy's version of "My Way" is believed by some to be the best rendition ever recorded. All 14 of the timeless songs on this album feature full orchestral/band arrangements and background vocals which complement the artist's tremendous vocal ability.
BIOGRAPHY: Andy Nahas was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and as a baby was cared for by an elderly Quaker couple while his parents both worked. Andy's family subsequently lived in Boston, New Haven, and Rochester, N.Y. The oldest of five children, Andy was very independent minded and this became evident when he sang publicly for the first time in his college talent show at The University of California, San Diego. Andy performed several "crooner" songs during the show, even though Pink Floyd was the order of the day. Nevertheless, his college peers were quite impressed and he tied for first place. For a boy who was perhaps the shyest kid in his 350 person high school class, this marked a huge turning point for the future singer.
Andy continued his singing pursuits during college and subsequently moved to New York City, where he worked at an international bank during the day and sang at various clubs in the evening. Five years later, Andy moved back to Rochester, N.Y. as his home base, from where he would launch as many as 100 concerts in a year. Andy's live performances are without parallel in terms of personality, audience interaction, and charm. He possesses a sweet spot for audiences in need, such as nursing homes and hospitals.
Andy's vocal quality is quite rare among today's young singers. A powerful yet romantic tenor, his range and versatility are unique and evident in both hard hitting up tempo songs and slow tender ballads. He may be the only young singer today specializing in his sub-genre of music.
