Being a mature english song writer "Colour Overload"is an attempt to describe through the songs events places and observations in the rural north east of England.
"Colour Overload" first track is about driving along noticing the various colours on each side of the road. "Fast Trax" is to do with driving on a motorway and watching events unfold in the wing mirror. "Gotta get a better love" reflecting and trying to get a better understanding of relationships. "Market Day" is observing a typical local English market town trying to get parked followed by "Just in Time" getting over the traffic lights without an accident. "Plazma Youth" watching the new craze plazma TV taking hold.
