PS Lorio is an award winning playwright and composer. While in residency at the API Theatre in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Lorio composed music and/or underscore and sound effects, including pyrotechnics, for more than thirty productions. The centerpiece of that work being the music she created for "Ebenezer!", first produced in 1996. Humorous essays by Lorio have appeared in WOMEN'S GLIB, KITTY GLIBBER, and the WASHINGTON POST. Lorio's stageplays have been seen by audiences coast to coast. PS Lorio is a member of the Dramatists Guild and the International Centre for Women Playwrights. She now resides in Baltimore, Maryland. She uses her experiences as a bartender for much of her humor and inspiration.
