Al Caldwell and the Travelin Black Hillbilly's are the new band on the block.
They play multiple instruments and Al's main instruments are Banjo and the 9 string bass. The banjo came from Africa. It's been almost 100 years since an African -American has been featured as a banjo player in today's modern music. The "Good Livin" CD consist of 17 tracks of feel good music. It also has the Dance hit "Hump and Hollar" .The bands music is fun to listen to and it takes you on a musical journey. With songs like "Drinking Gin", you can almost see the back porch. You can also check out the web site for up and coming tour events. Al Caldwell also tours with different bands. He's currently recording and touring with Vanessa Williams.
