"I'd rather be wore out doing what I love to do than to be wore out doing anything else!" - Ray Ligon
Ray Ligon was born and raised in southern Florida. His dad bought him his first guitar at age 13, and he started teaching himself to play. He's also learned from many other musicians over the years. his influences are varied, and that is obvious when one hears his music, particularly on such songs as "Heart of Thunder."
Ray's debut CD "Live" at the Acoustic Coffee & Tea House was recorded December 11, 2004 in Madisonville, KY. He still performs there every few weeks and finds his fan base growing with each performance.
Ray feels strongly that his dream of making music his full-time career is about to come true. With the help and encouragment of his wife Cindy, many friends, and an ever-growing number of fans, Ray is well on his way to fulfilling his dream.
Once you meet Ray, you'll understand why his motto is: "It's all about touchin' folks with the music!"
