Take a Closer Look. Shanna, a 17-year old singing sensation, focused in country/pop music, spellbinds her audience with a voice that is clear, perfectly pitched, richer and more mature than her years. She takes command on stage and leaves her audience wanting more.

Her love for entertaining is apparent as this beautiful songstress captivates her listeners and tugs at their emotions. Shanna is one special entertainer.

Shanna has always excelled in school earning a 4.0 GPA. Along with her musical
elective subjects of Chorus, Band Choreography and Jazz Band, she has been in private study with her vocal coach since late 1996. Shanna is a fast learner and always seems to be up to a challenge. Extremely positive, strong-willed and goal-oriented, she is a rare find for a 17-year old today.

About the Project...
While a 3-4 song demo may be the normal way to shop an artist, Shanna's team decided to go much further. She had a good, 3-song demo but it was just that...a good demo. Phil Alessi, a long time high-profile promoter, held a meeting in Tampa where a group of people flew in.

After meeting Shanna and listening to her demo it was decided that the best way to proceed would be to make a real record. Everyone there agreed that this girl can be a star. Everyone also saw the urgency in moving swiftly to take full advantage of her age and marketability over the next few years.The plan was to produce an album with great songs using top session musicians with Vern Dant as the producer. The style would be mostly up-tempo, cutting-edge Pop/Country. A top-quality product was the goal. An investment plan was devised to finance
the project.

Fortunately, but not surprisingly, the investors were very easy to find because all of them are fans of Shanna and had watched her develop over the last few years. Just a phone call and they wanted in! That in itself speaks volumes about Shanna.

The project was on.

"Take It From Me" - the album For producer, Vern Dant, this was an opportunity to do something special. Enthusiastic about Shanna, Vern first used his resources to compile a substantial list of songs that he was excited about and felt matched Shanna. Next, he handpicked the musicians to do the recording, people like Larry Beaird (session leader), Mike Brignardello, J.T. Corenflos, Terry McMillan, Shannon Forest, Rob Hajacos, Scott Sanders and Tony Harrel to mention some. Once Shanna finalized the song selections, production began. Initial tracking sessions took place at Seventeen Grand Recording. The sessions had a magical feel as the creativity flowed. The musicians were loving it and the product was sizzling. Shanna was on cloud nine as the songs came to life.

This album is, without a doubt, custom made for Live Performance. An unforgettable one at that.
