While touring with back-up bands around the country the twins honed in on their performing skills and musicianship playing acoustic and electric guitar, bass, harmonica and electrified banjo. These Wyoming beauties are passionate performers and songwriters with a warm resonant soulful vocal style, lots of intricate haromonies, down-to-earth good humor who are in tune with the audience. What separates Annie & Amy from the crowd is their ability to write songs with power and precision about things that connect all people. They deliver their music with up-tempo sophistication and an honest open heart - a sound that is at once captivating and inspiring.
About the Artist
With three critically acclaimed CD's already being played on radio stations across the country and on CMR (Country Music Radio in London-broadcast in 32 countries); BBC Radio in England, Ireland, and Scotland, Annie & Amy have performed on world tours to Cuba, Panama, Puerto Rico, Russia, Greece, Turkey, Australia and an award winning tour to Alaska. Their list of credits include performing on GOOD MORNING AMERICA, VH-1, 60 MINUTES II, NASHVILLE NETWORK and performing on the GRAND OLE OPRY at the age of 16.Annie & Amy have also shared the stage with various stars from Bob Hope, to Riders In The Sky, to John Popper (Blues Traveler) to Trisha Yearwood.
"You would think that we were trying to lure the listener into this album [MIRROR] with provocative, sensual images of love. OK, it's true." Annie quickly adds, "But we also chose these songs for "Mirror" because they are a reflection of our attitude toward relationships at this time in our lives.
