Jessica Lynch's parents met Anna at their home in Palestine, West Virginia to graciously accept copies of Anna's CD titled Welcome Home Jessica (to West Virginia). West Virginia radio stations, press and ABC-TV in Beckley and Pittsburgh opened their arms to Anna, the teenager from Connecticut. Letters from both Governor Wise of West Virginia and former Governor Cuomo of New York personally thanked Anna for what they described as inspiring music. Anna has yet to realize her dream of personally singing this song for Jessica and returning POW's. Perhaps that day will come soon.

Anna (age 16 when she wrote the song) was fearful and extremely distraught after 9/11 & the Iraq War. She felt renewed hope when Jessica Lynch & the POW's were rescued. Like all teens across America, feelings of security were now being wiped out and replaced by insecurity, fear, anxiety and doubts about their future in a world now filled with terror. This aspiring singer/songwriter woke one spring morning to a sunny day when she felt compelled to take a walk in her mother's garden. Anna became overwhelmed with the presence of a song. Anna says it had to be a song from God as there was a great need to welcome our boys and girls and our men and women home from combat. Welcome Home Jessica (to West Virginia) was born.

Anna, a very spiritual girl, is the daughter of a minister and a registered nurse. After months of despair, a visit to the United States at the age of 18 months brought the first miracle for Anna. Facial surgery that physicians in the Carpathian Mountains were unable to perform, claimed success by a Connecticut surgeon. Tears turned to joy as Anna no longer looked in the mirror asking if she'd ever be pretty. She is very pretty; both outside and in. Anna's parents and brother immigrated to the United States, became citizens and are very proud to be Americans.

Anna invited two artists she believes in to contribute to this compilation album of "Healing" music. Jason Wilson, a Scottish boy from Toronto and a cousin of two members of the famous UB40 group of Great Britain (one of their hits was Red Red Wine) contributes songs like You're The Reason I Believe, Peace In Our Time, Healing and Holy Mountain Man. These are love songs and songs of courage and the overcoming of diversity.

David Seering, (originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin) writes "He's My Brother", dedicated to our military, their coalition and his brother, Michael, who is still on duty in Iraq. David also contributes Ferrante & Teicher-style piano music; music for contemplation and meditation, beautiful to listen to and peaceful to the soul and soothing. The Awakening and New Beginnings are titles worth listening to when one has the need to feel calm.

Anna, now 17 and a senior, is juggling her studies, music and dreams of entering Yale. While in the studio recording a new album of her original songs for release in early June of 2004, Anna is scheduling as many live performances as time allows. You may hear Anna on talk radio interviews across the country. A guest artist performing at several Motorcycle Expos, she is gaining the love of audiences across the country. Please click on www.musicandamerica.com for Anna's radio and performance schedules as well as soon-to-be samples of her new music. Anna requests that you please leave a guest book entry.

Jason Wilson is putting the finishing touches on his new album titled Dread and Blue to be released January of 2004. Two previous albums, Jonah (nominated for a year 2000 Juno Award) and Dark Corners may be previewed at www.musicandamerica.com. Alanis Morrisette is one of Jason's oldest fans. Alanis and Jason sang a duet on Jason's first CD on a song titled I Have Faith. Jason, having dropped out of high school as a depressed teenager (his best friend died of cancer), received his Master's degree in History in June, 2003. Jason encourages everyone he meets to never give up hope; a huge foundation he draws on for his compositions.

David Seering, a child prodigy, who heckled his minister at the age of three by parroting the preacher's every word in church, began his professional musical career as a vocalist with the United States Army Band stationed in Georgia. After a five-year hitch, David's career has taken him from the Whitehouse and cabaret clubs to conventions and festivals across America. Four albums later and still writing, David's passion for Americana (he's already released an album dedicated to Frank Sinatra and Johnny Mercer) finds him hosting the Green Bay Cerebral Palsy Telethon annually, performing as the star attraction at the Ocean Club when he's back home in Destin, Florida and traveling the countryside sharing his talents with audiences young and old. David's albums which includes Heart Notes, an album of original piano compositions (written while David was healing from a major illness), Seering Sings Sinatra and Remember Johnny Mercer may be heard and purchased by going to www.musicandameica.com.

Please leave your messages in our guest book and check back now and then to listen to new music, to view current performance schedules and to watch the careers of these three young artists grow and grow.

Thank you so much for listening. To love and peace in our world.

Anna, David and Jason
