How the time does pass.
'Transient Glory' is a moment in time captured and illuminated. Caught between the coasts, these songs were written, forgotten and remembered again. Saved by the grace of a crusading spouse, nurtured, encouraged, pushed and prodded, this album took shape over the early parts of 2002.
Acoustic guitar, harmonica and tambourine litter the alleys and byways of this album. Familiar tastes, freeway noises, colors; blue, brown, grey are represented. Sometimes function follows form. The sketches became pictures that have now been framed.
'Transient Glory' is the first solo album from Steven Takeuchi, formerly with the band John Yeller. This album was recorded in Bellevue, Washington at After Work Studios.
