Kelly Pardekooper is releasing his debut CD 30-Weight.

Hailing from Iowa City, this singer songwriter's music is best described as the blending of stark narratives with infectious electric folk.

Simple and direct with shadings of pop, country, and rock. Having recently survived the SXSW 2000 music conference with his soul intact, Pardekooper is finishing up work in the studio with his band (The Devil's House Band) and will be releasing the album on Trailer Records, home of roots-rock legend Bo Ramsey and Grammy nominated Greg Brown.
