Celtic to country, this romantic album has been a musical catalyst famous for getting people dancing in their kitchens and singing along over and again. The songs, a rich composite of originals by Kate Power, have natural influences of her Celtic ancestry, New England origins and western migration to the Pacific Northwest. Covered by several artists around the country and included in Celtic compilations from “Hearts O'Space”, the songs are captivating, well-crafted and beautifully delivered. Power's DADGAD guitar in duet with Einhorn's fine guitar-picking and rich vocal harmony lays a rich foundation for the great lick added by the premier players surrounding the songs.

Featuring Harley James on pedal steel, Spud Siegel on mandolin, Dan Schulte on bass, Bill Rhoades on harmonica, Sylvia Hackathorn on penny whistle, some select pieces with Aidan Brennan on guitar & harmonies. Scottish fiddler & co-producer, Johnny Cunningham played on a few favorites, giving the album a beautiful finish on Nova Scotia, Sweet Air & Old Salt. Dar Williams made a special trip into the shop to let us know that this was her favorite album the year it came out! It's a good one.
