Andrew Ohren was born and raised in Oakland, CA, where he studied guitar under Douglas Murphy (Holy Names Oakland), a student of Christopher Parkening. His heart-felt classical style is well known in Arcata and Plumas County, California.

Andrew has been performing since he was 17 years old and is now winning the applause of everyone that has had the opportunity to listen to him play.

Andrew signed under the Cobblestone label in October of 2003. This cd is Andrew's first release under Cobblestone Records. It invites your ears, then captivates and invigorates the audio senses.

Andrew's character is all about music. He loves to play and that passion is evident in his music. His guitar is not simply the tool he uses to express himself, his guitar is part of him...the part we all require to live...his heart.
