New York based Pianist and Composer Andrew Kimsey combines a variety of styles and influences at the piano. A classically trained pianist, Kimsey began playing the piano at age 4. Raised in the southeastern US, his earliest musical influences came largely from the church. He is also a fan of the pop music of the late 70's and 80's. As to classical, he considers himself heavily influenced by the works of Prokofiev, Brahms and Beethoven. In addition to arranging, performing and recording, Kimsey also composes original works, most recently a Choral setting of "The Magnificat", premiered in Southwark Cathedral, London in July 2005.

His newest project is 'Christmas At Home', a recording of traditional holiday favorites.
