April Beth Armstrong Campbell is currently based in the Worcester/Boston, MA area with continued close ties to her family and friends in Connecticut.

April has a very versatile voice and found it hard to limit her demo CD to just four styles, but you can find a wide representation of her skills on this four-song release: Track one is an oldie cover song of Dusty Springfield's; the other three tracks are original tunes by Harry King, one of which April helped write: Track 2, "Love Song" (the one April helped write) is a power pop ballad, track 3 is a bluesy rock tune ("Cruisin' from the Blues") and track four ("How Will I Know?") is a soundtrack ballad written for a Sundance Film Festival movie.

She enjoys singing all different kinds of music, from opera arias to hard rock songs, and has done so in her part-time capacity as a wedding and reception singer, party host, karaoke host, opening act. While she has her own distinct voice, she slips easily into many different singing styles and has more than once been told that her listeners think they are listening to the original recordings! There are few styles she doesn't enjoy trying out!

April is currently the lead vocalist for the Boston area band Common Ground-check them out at www.commongroundboston.com

April has performed Off-Broadway as well as at dinner theatres, Disney World, the Top of the Hub and has done professional theatre at Long Wharf in CT and Yale Rep. She has opened concerts for Livingston Taylor (as part of one of her two college acappella groups) and Rick James (as a solo performer) and performed at numerous venues in New England and NY.

As her album title implies, she is hoping this demo will lead to a record contract and a full-time singing career, so if you need a recording artist, "SIGN ME"! Otherwise, enjoy anyway!
