Aaron James Traxler-Ballew is a songwriter and recording artist from Ann Arbor, Michigan. His music is as diverse as his lyrics, which address racism, romance, war, and the rhythm of the city on a summer day. Rock, jazz, blues... mellow, movin', swingin', and rockin' -it's all in there.

This self-produced album features performances by Ann Arbor musicians Ted Ribbens, Ian Lawler, Tim Haldeman, and many others. It was recorded at Dreamweaver Studio with the help of Chip Kramer.

Background:
Aaron studied music, poetry, French, and social science at the Residential College of the University of Michigan. His studies in French led him to Switzerland, his studies in music and poetry led him to produce this CD, and his studies in social science led him to his current line of work. Aaron now teaches with The Program on Intergroup Relations at the University of Michigan. In his spare time, Aaron continues to write music and studies at the Tom Brown Jr. School of Tracking and Wilderness Survival.
