Benard McGee has worked hard for his family all of his life. His is a native of Rose Hill, MS. With a musical background for Rust College in Holly Springs, he had expreiences at Stax Records and Phllips Studio in Memphis. He got his start writing and playing in local clubs. Because he could no get anyone to sign him, he started his own record label- Rosemount Records. His first CD, "Love Me Easy" which featured "Cooking MY Love" and "Love Me Easy" became popular hits after signing a songwriter's agreement with Paula Records in Shreveport, La. He has shared the stage with greats like: B.B. King, Latimore, Johnnie Taylor, Mel Waiters, and Willie Clayton just to name a few.
