Bennie has been around the music scene a long time. Writing, singing, managing and hobnobbing with some of the best. If you like blues, then you have come to the right place. Some will argue that blues is the core to all modern day genres of music.

Bennie Williams was born in Adrian, GA April 31, 1934. He started singing in the Baptist Church as a child.

His music career began in 1950 by managing the the original "Starlighters" with hits such as; Wump-Wump, Until You Return, Sad Side Of Life, and The Fat Man. He left the Starlighters and formed a group called "The Bandanas". Bennie went into the Military in 1952. While in the Army, Bennie played in Talent Shows. After the army, he formed a group called "Solid Funk". "Bennie Whiteshoes and The Mark II Band" cut a record called: That's A Woman's Love.

Took a break and formed the group "Bennie Whiteshoes and the High Rise Band". Performed and toured the United States. Bennie is a prolific songwriter to this day.

He has played with "Peace Makers - 1960-1964, Stax Label with Otis Redding 1964-1968, Johnny Taylor, Ted Taylor, Sam & Dave 1968-1972. Off and on for B.B. King. Bo Williams - (Bass). The three musicians have played together over 30 years.
