This is the first CD that Kathy recorded. It is a blend of folk/blues influence. The recording was done by the fabulous Rose Gargiulo (currently one of the masterminds behind WIMS - the Women's Independent Music Show and All About Eve Media Services) at her house. It features some wonderful guitar work by Rose herself as well as Delta Blues player, John the Cop Eischen, and blues/jazz/rock drummer, Frank Binger, who currently plays drums for Jr. Drinkwater.
The title and first song, "Speaking Guillotine" is about cutting people up with words. "Down Syndrome" is a blues song and play on words written after a particularly depressing gig. "Manhattan" is about John Lennon.
