Chicago born Billy King grew up in an environment where modern electric blues was evolving.

The rural blues styles of the Mississippi Delta were being shaped by the influences of electric instruments and rock and roll.

A product of this multifaceted blues environment, Billy's raw edged style can best be describd as a synthesis of traditional acoustic and electric blues shaped by the experiences of growing up on the mean streets of Chicago's South Side.

Billy has established himself as a gifted song writer and exciting frontman.

He is at his best when performing his own quick witted originals punctuated by his stinging guitar style.

In this cd Billy is joined by the legendary Lonnie Brooks Band for twelve smoking originals.

Chicago is burning again but this time the heat is being provided by Billy King.
