Harry Lucas and the Lowdown is a real powerhouse in the growing West Michigan blues scene. The band draws material from all the well known blues styles and injects the songs with Grand Rapids own fresh and funky "West-Side" sound.

"Junkyard Dog" the follow up CD to the 1990 Marlboro Talent Roundup regional winner's debut, "Fistfull of Blues" showcases a variety of local Grand Rapids blues musicians and demonstrates the band's versatility in the blues genre.

With an expanding repertoire of original compositions and an obvious love for the blues tradition, Harry Lucas and the Lowdown, like a fine wine, keeps getting better with time!
