This is Allan’s’ 4th cd, and again, contains some wonderful, all NEW original material. The “Cold Wind” cd is more in the blues, and blues rock genre than the previous cds. The title track features Anthony Junior (Drums) for the 1st time on vocals, and is a gripping and compelling song, with kick a** guitar solos and harmony vocals. Tony also does a great job singing on “Nothing but Trouble”; a song that has his name all over it! Stacy Brooks (vocals) brings out the best on “Ain’t Nobody Home” and “Maybe I was Wrong”, while the band puts down a solid backbeat. You can feel the pain and suffering in Myriets’ voice when she sings “What’s Wrong” , you know she’s been there! Ed Myers (bass) is as solid as usual, providing a rock solid backbone for Tony and Darnell(2nd guitar) to play to. Darnell takes a few outstanding solos, and holds things down with a nice rhythm. Allan has written some great songs for this band, and his solos are as always, interesting and complex, while sounding so normal!
You will enjoy this music for years to come.
